Kathy Ishizuka is an award-winning journalist and reporter. As Editor in Chief of School Library Journal, she directed editorial strategy across multiple platforms, from digital and print content to newsletters, social media, and events.
Ishizuka managed editorial staff and guided the production of an award-winning print magazine and *SLJ‘*s digital content, including a robust blog network, which she created. As Partnerships and Innovation Director for SLJ and Library Journal, Ishizuka has collaborated with Penguin Random House and We Need Diverse Books, among other partners, and project-managed initiatives, coordinating across teams.
